Gorgeous golfing multiplayer gameplay

Shot Online is a golf game which is also an MMO so it is something of a hybrid which will appeal to fans of both sports simulators and role-playing.

Fancy a round?

Developed in Korea, Shot Online is a multiplayer role-playing game that focusses on the world of golf. Select your character and get to the fun part – playing a round of golf with real people. Given that golf is such a social sport based on individual endeavour, the conversion of it to an MMORPG is a great idea – so long as you like the sport in the first place, that is! Most players will find that learning how to take shots is easy enough on the training ground but – just like real golf – the situation becomes much more pressurised when you are in a real competition against other players on the fairway. Will you tee off correctly and come in under par? Does you player's character improve or crumble when they are playing in a tournament as part of a team? Players can trade items and chat freely to one another. What's more you can use various angles to view any shot that is played so the whole experience becomes like you are watching a real life tournament on TV. You'll need to weigh up all the environmental factors, like wind and humidity, before being able to play at your best like a true professional.

An on par MMORPG?

Although golf sims and MMOs are nothing new, combining them is and this is exactly what Shot Online offers you. If you like both genres, then you will love this engaging and in-depth game design.
